Jalandhar, December 3, 2015: The overseas alumni of Lyallpur Khalsa College celebrated the centenary of the establishment of the college, abroad in the USA. In an elaborate function held in Sacramento, California, over 250 alumni of the college led by Sukh Dhaliwal, the Mayor of Lathrop and a former student of the college honoured the college principal Dr. GS Samra and Prof HS Bolina who were the special invitees to the event. Addressing the present Dr Samra said that he was feeling a sense of pride on seeing the former students of the college as established and successful beings abroad. Requesting their feedback, suggestions and opinions about the college, he called forth their greater contribution in the development of the college. Calling them as ambassadors of the college, he invited them to the annual alumni meet of the college. A special report focusing on 100 year of existence of the institution was presented by Prof H.S. Bolina.
