Students participate in annual athletic meet (primary section) at BCM, Sector 32, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, February 7, 2015: The annual athletic meet of the primary section kicked off on a vibrant note at B.C.M (Chandigarh Road). Among the dignitaries Principal D.P.Guleria, R.B Khanna, Dr.Monika Sethi (Principal of B.Ed.College) and Dinesh Singh were there to grace the occasion with their benign presence.
The meet was declared open by Dinesh Singh. He took salute from the marching contingents of the primary section followed by a torch lighting ceremony by the budding sports stars who brought laurels to the school. Cultural programme left an ever lasting impact on the audience.
Principal D.P.Guleria through his address highlighted the role of sports for the holistic development. Students participated in 50 m, 80 m, 100 m Race, Obstacle Race, Balancing Race, Long Jump, Frog Jump, Shot Put and Skipping.
Dr.Monika Sethi distributed the prizes among the winners.
Over all trophy was begged by Yamuna House.
R.B. Khanna awarded the students with the academic prizes. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
