Shimla, September 29, 2015: Political Advisor to the Chief Minister, Shri Rangila Ram Rao called on Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh and urged him to start construction work of the Govt Degree College building, Baldawara in Sarkaghat constituency of Mandi district.
He said that previous BJP Government had opened 16 degree colleges without any budgetary provision and proper infrastructure and staff at different places of the State. He said that Baldawara College was also one of these degree colleges which was opened by the previous Government without proper arrangements and the present Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh provided Rs. five crore out of which Rs. 3.5 crore had already been deposited with PWD Authority for starting the construction work.
He urged the Chief Minister for accelerating the pace of widening work of Rs. 167 crore national highway project from Sarkaghat to Ghumarwin.
