Aarsi Sandhu Top Panjab University In M.Com (Business Innovations)-2nd Semester Examination

Ludhiana, August 28, 2015: The students of Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Business Innovations of SCD Government College Ludhiana exhibited remarkable achievements in the result declared of M.Com (Business Innovations) 2nd Semester by the Panjab University Chandigarh. All the 44 students of the College secured first division. Ms  Aarsi Sandhu daughter of Eminent Mathematician Dr. Gursharanjit Singh Sandhu secured the first position in the Panjab  University by securing 1329 Marks out of 1600. It is remarkable to mention here that Ms Aarsi Sanhdu is trained by the State Bank of India during the summer internship programme and State Bank of India offered Rs. 30000/- as stipend to this candidate. She worked on the Project of SBI  titled Study of NPA in P Segment Loans-Reasons and Remedies.  Ms Muskan Sharma daughter of Ravinder Kumar secured the second position in the Panjab  University by scoring 1299 Marks out of 1600. She was trained by the Dayanand Medical College Ludhiana during the internship programme and worked under the guidance of Dr. G.S wander on the research topic “Participation in the Medical Conferences-Delegates perceptions and Outcomes” which is a excellent piece of work to analyse the results of the medical conferences and delegates participation. The third position is bagged by Mehak Jain daughter of Sh. Ravi Jain by securing 1271 Marks out of 1600.  She was trained by the Hero Cycles Limited on the Project Working Capital Management in Hero Cycles during the internship programme held in July 2015. Principal of the College Dr. Dharam Singh Sandhu has congratulated the students of the M.Com (Business Innovations) and faculty members specially Programme Coordinator Professor (Dr) Ashwani Bhalla for the excellent results shown by the department not only in the University results but also in terms of Internship and placement activities.
