Haryana Industries Minister visits IITF 2014

New Delhi, November 17, 2014: Haryana Industries Minister,  Abhimanyu visited the Haryana Pavilion in the ongoing India International Trade Fair (IITF)-2014 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi and was apprised about the various schemes and programmes being implemented for promoting women entrepreneurship by various departments of the Haryana Government, Corporations and Boards in the State. Capt. Abhimanyu was accompanied by Haryana Chief Secretary,  Shakuntala Jakhu.

While talking to media persons,  Abhimanyu said that the active participation of women entrepreneurs in IITF-2014 will promote the women empowerment in the country in a big way. He said that the fair provides opportunities to the women entrepreneurs to showcase their products to the visitors from throughout the world.  He said that it has inculcated a new enthusiasm among the women entrepreneurs.        

Abhimanyu said that new products produced in the small and cottage industries by women entrepreneurs from the rural areas in the State have been displayed at Haryana Pavilion by following the theme women entrepreneurship of the India International Trade Fair (IITF)-2014. He said that this will promote the small and cottage industries and the business of women entrepreneurs.

He appreciated the efforts of officers and officials of Trade Fair Authority of Haryana for effective display of the products of women entrepreneurs at Haryana Pavilion in India International Trade Fair (IITF)-2014.

On the occasion, Principal Resident Commissioner and Chief Administrator of Trade Fair Authority of Haryana P.K. Mahapatra, Administrator of Haryana Trade Fair Authority of Haryana  Shyamal Mishra and other dignitaries were also present.
