Gurupurab Celebrations at Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar, January 19, 2015: The students and staff at Lyallpur Khalsa College paid their obeisance on the occasion of Sehaj Path held in the college Gurudwara today as a part of Gurupurab celebrations of Sri Guru Gobind Singh. The day was marked by the recitation of Kirtan by Bhai Balbir Singh, Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar. On the occasion, Principal of the College Dr. G.S. Samra said that the college has always upheld the moral and spiritual values taught by the ten Gurus. He exhorted the students to seek guidance and moral strength from the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh. President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur honoured the Ragis with Siropas Keeping with the tradition, Langar was served to one and all at this time.

The occasion was marked by the presence of Jaspal Singh Wraich, Joint Secretary, Kartar Kaur, Jagdeep Singh Shergill and Ajaypal Singh Dhillon members Governing Council.
