KHANNA, May 16, 2018: Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Lieutenant General TS Shergill on Wednesday reiterated that Guardians of Governance (GoGs) are eyes and ears of the state government and they are keeping the regular tab on every scheme allotted to them. He was addressing the gathering in Kishangarh village.

The Senior Advisor to Chief Minister told that GoGs submit accurate, unbiased and factual free report pertaining to the government schemes. He said that Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh himself regularly monitors this scheme so the report presented by the GoGs must be up to the mark and suitable and prompt action can be taken accordingly.

He clarified that any negative report sent by GoGs is being taken on a priority basis and they do not interfere in government's functioning. He also said that they also praise those performing excellently.

He mentioned that at present, GOGs are monitoring 18 schemes which will be increased to 24 in the coming days.

GoG's district chief Lieutenant Colonel (retired) Harbant Singh Kahlon said that GoGs are ensuring effective implementation of government schemes.
