GNDU College to introduce MBA part-time from academic session 2015-16

Jalandhar, April 2, 2015: Guru Nanak Dev University College is to introduce M.B.A part-time from the coming academic session 2015-16. Dr.Jaspal Singh Randhawa, Principal, GNDU College, Jalandhar informed that the initiative is taken to provide an opportunity to enhance academic qualification of the persons who are working in private or government sector. University syndicate has decided that there will be 60 seats for this course and it will be running in the evening shift. The syllabus will be same as already running M.B.A course in the university. The course is divided into three years so that working students may complete the credits conveniently. The candidates having 50% marks in graduation and one year work experience will be eligible for getting admission in this course. Dr.Jaspal Singh Randhawa further added that the admission process for M.B.A.(FYIC), B.Com., B.B.A., B.Sc., M.Com, and M.Sc.(Maths), and for the said course has already been started. The admission to M.B.A.(Two Year Course) and M.C.A.(Three year Course)will be based on an entrance test to be conducted by the university. There is no hike in fee of any course. Fee for various courses are M.B.A (FYIC)-40,100, B.Com-11,190, B.B.A.-17,700, B.C.A.-20,100, M.Sc. (Maths)-18,350 and M.Com.-18,350 rupees annually, which can be deposited in two instalments. There is full fee concession for the SC/ST students as per the government policy. According to the university norms 10% students can avail full fee concession in each course. Minority and Single Girl Child scholarships schemes are also available to the students.
