Amrinderjeet Singh from University College of Physical Education of Guru Kashi University who participated in South Asian Kick Boxing Championship held at Kathmandu (Nepal) from 16 to 17 May 2014.

Talwandi Sabo, May 28, 2014: Amrinderjeet Singh from University College of Physical Education of Guru Kashi University participated in South Asian Kick Boxing Championship held at Kathmandu (Nepal) from 16 to 17 May 2014. Eight countries of South Asia participated in this championship. GKU student won Gold Medal after beating the host country Nepal in the fourth and final round.
Dr. Tarlok Singh Sandhu, Olympian and Director Sports of GKU stated that this student has already won many medals at National and International levels. GkU is providing best sports platform to the students to excel in sports, hee added.
Sukhraj Singh Sidhu, Managing Director congratulated the winner and appreciated the efforts of HOD Dr. Ravinder Sumal and his coaches Hardeep Singh, K.P.S. Mahi, Gursharan Singh and Nirmal Singh for bringing the students up to this level.
Dr.N.S.Malhi, Vice-Chancellor requisite while congratulating the winner stated that Guru Kashi University is providing every required support to the student community for sports and handsome scholarships for National and International level players.
