Talwandi Sabo, June 13, 2018: The students of University College of Hospitality & Tourism Management (UCHT) brought laurels to Guru Kashi University by excelling at the North Zone Level Cooking Competition.
The Head of Department, Chef Mr.Gaurav Khurana is proud of his student’s achievement as they participated in Cooking, Food & Beverage service in Indira Gandhi Pratishthan Lucknow, UP which was organised by National Skill Development Cooperation under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. They had participated in different trades like Food Production (cooking) and Food & Beverage Services.
The students learnt a lot from the event and Worthy CM of UP, Mr. Yogi Aditya Nath honored the students with the prize money of Rs five thousand each. Guru Kashi University appreciated & Thanked to the Government of India for organising such events which give great exposure to the youth budding. The Students got five stars Delicacy by the Government of India.
The Managing Director S. Sukhraj Singh Sidhu and Vice Chancellor Dr. G. S. Brar congratulated the students and staff members for their accomplishment. Dr. Amit Tuteja, Deputy Registrar also commended the success of the students and wished for their bright future.
