Zirakpur, February 11, 2018: Over 30 patients were examined during a chest and sleep diseases camp at Alchemist Wellness Center today.
Patients with the complaints of chest pain, cough, asthma, excessive snoring and chest related problems were examined by Dr. Vishal Sharma, consultant-pulmonology at Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula.
Speaking during occasion, Dr. Vishal Sharma said that if you are having cough and it doesn’t go away don’t ignore it. You may be suffering from chest infection. It is an infection that affects your lungs, either in the larger airways or in the smaller air sacs (pneumonia). There is a build-up of pus and fluid (mucus), and the airways become swollen, making it difficult for you to breathe.
During camp free chest consultation and other investigations like pulmonary function test, sleep disorder screening, CPAP BIPAP machine assessment were also provided free to the patients.
