PU Pharmaceutical Sciences Oration 2015.
Chandigarh, May 1, 2015: The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University (PU) today organized the First Ever Chandigarh Pharma Convocation at the PU Campus.
As many as 62 successful graduate and postgraduate Pharmaceutical students of 2013-14 batch received degrees from the PU Vice Chancellor Prof Arun K Grover and Vice Chancellor of KLE University, Belgaum Prof C K Kokate. Prof Kokate was the chief guest on the occasion.
The students, who were awarded their respective degrees, took “Oath for Code of Pharmaceutical Ethics” on the occasion. They took pledge to maintain the integrity, quality standards, sincerity and ethical approach in their professional life. UIPS Chairperson Prof B.S. Bhoop administered the oath to the students.
The Chief Guest Prof Kokate described the convocation as the “Historical Pharma Convocation” for it being the First Ever Convocation held in India by any public sector University.
Dean, Pharmaceutical Sciences Prof Kanwaljit Chopra presented the successful pass-outs of B.Pharm and M.Pharm to the Vice Chancellor and Chief Guest for degrees award ceremony. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
