Ferozepur, November 27, 2018 : High voltage drama was witnessed today when farmers belonging to Bhartiya Kisan Union (Kadian) who were anguish over stray cattle destroying their crops, released several stray cattle infront of District Administrative Complex (DAC) due to which the situation became chaotic besides the commuters also had to bear the brunt.
As per information available, at around 11.00 am around fifty farmers, most of them from Village Ferozeshah came to DC office along with 5-6 tractor trolleys loaded with stray cattle. A delegation of farmers first met the SDM Amit Gupta to discuss their problem of stray cattle who according to them were destroying their crops. However, when the SDM failed to satisfy them, they started unloading the tractor trolleys due to which the situation became chaotic. The visitors who had come to DC office were seen running for their lives.
Meanwhile, farmers belonging to Bhartiya Kisan Union (Kadian) Baljinder Singh, Baljit Singh Bhangali, Rajinder Pal Singh, Malkeet Singh alleged that these stray cattle destroy their crops. "So we decide to leave these cattle inside the DAC so that the high authorities could feel our pain", said union leaders.
When contacted, Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur said that the administration will try to resolve the issue
