Event for Hostel Freshers held at Dev Samaj College for Women

Chandigarh, September 26, 2018: Dev Samaj College for Women, DSCW 45, Sec-45/B here held a an event which was a platform for freshers who have just joined the college Hostel, to showcase their talent. The event was brought alive by wonderful performances of Bhangra and Fusion Dance. The hostel freshers presented a very well choreographed semi-classical dance. The audience were thoroughly entertained by the hilarious comic acts done by the freshers who have just joined the Hostel. The event witnessed various competitions as well.

The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Principal, Dev Samaj College of Education , Sec 36, who reiterated Dev Samaj’s support towards women education. She welcomed the Freshers and congratulated them on residing in one of the best hostels in the city. The Principal of DSCW 45 Dr. Jaspal Kaur too welcomed the hostelers and assured them of a comfortable stay and a feel of home away from home.

The winners of various competitions were Hostel Miss Fresher's - Harmanjot, Hostel Miss Fresher's 1st Runner up - Meena, Hostel Miss Fresher's 2nd Runner up - Tanya, Hostel Miss Dazzling - Megha and Hostel Miss Elegant - Nancy.
