EARTHQUAKE: District Level Control Room Set Up In Ludhiana

Ludhiana, April 26, 2015: After earthquake in Nepal, parts of North India and other nearby countries on Friday, the District Administration has set up a District level control room at the Deputy Commissioner office, here. This control room has been set up for providing information about the victims and family members of those who reside in Ludhiana and are worried about the well being of their loved ones. This control room has been set up in the Visitor Waiting Room in Deputy Commissioner office, Ludhiana and it would remain open for 24 hours.
While giving information, Rajat Agarwal, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, said that Friday';s earthquake is a big natural catastrophe and all of us should stay together in this need of hour. He said that the control room has been set up as a sizeable population of Nepalese residents reside in Ludhiana. He said that the control room number is 0161-2433100 and along with this, information can also be sought by calling at 100 number.
