Digital awareness workshop commences at KMV

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya inaugurated a Two- Day Free of Cost Digital Awareness Workshop for Senior Citizens, Parents and Youth. The workshop was organized by PG Department of Computer Science & Applications. 
The workshop was inaugurated by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi.  The resource person for the workshop were Ms Nidhi Bhatia, Department of Computer Science & Applications, KMV and Mr Nitin Khanna, Department of Computer Science & Applications, KMV. The inaugural session witnessed the presence of students from outside, teaching and non teaching staff of KMV who seemed to be keen to hone their computer skills. The workshop's main highlight is that it is completely free of cost, practical based and is aimed only at providing help to bridge the gap between technology and citizens. This free of cost workshop includes various innovative and interesting modulus like Computer Basics, Internet and Email, Phone Management, You tubing and Whatsapp, Online Payment Modes and Online Transactions to name a few. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that in the current scenario every individual must be well versed with technology and latest gadgets. Thus the main aim of the workshop is to make the senior citizens adapt with the daily internet usage because internet and mobiles act as a backbone of our major day to day works.
