Ludhiana, October 2, 2015: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the International Day of Non Violence was organised at Senior Secondary Residential School for Meritorious Students, here today. The students of this school were administered oath of non violence by Deputy Commissioner Mr Rajat Agarwal in the presence of other senior district administration officials.
While addressing the students, the Deputy Commissioner urged them to follow the path of non violence and work hard to achieve new heights in their life. He urged them to work hard in studies by making the best use of the available time. The Deputy Commissioner also shared his life experiences with the students. He asked the students to always move ahead in life and should never let social evils to distract them from moving on the right path.
Prominent among those present on the occasion inc luded ADC Mr Kuldip Singh Vaid, SDM's Mr Sanyam Aggarwal and Mr Paramjit Singh,Assistant Commissioner Miss Kanu Thind, EO GLADA Mr Navraj Singh Brar, DEO (Secondary) Mrs Paramjit Kaur Chahal, besides others.
