CT University organises seminar on ‘Industry readiness and Employability skills’
Ludhiana, August 31, 2018: CT University (CTU), Ludhiana organized a one day seminar on ‘Industry Readiness and Employability skills’ in association with Cyber Labs, an Authorised Tally Institute of Learning for the awareness of the CTians related to employability skills. The seminar aimed at improving the productivity of the youth through sessions on different themes that includes Education and Employability and Skill Development, Personality Development, Soft Skills, Life Skills, Social, Cultural Skills, Leadership, Managerial Skills, Workplace Skills, Social behaviour and Value education. The seminar also highlighted the importance of Tally for the students. The programme also witnessed some interactive sessions on effective communication, corporate expectations, career planning and goal setting, understanding self, leadership, decision making skills, time management by Manjit Singh, Director, Techno Campus, Tally Institute of Learning, the guest speaker of the day. All the sessions conducted during the course of the workshop were interesting and very informative. Dr. Kiran Sood, Training and Placement Officer, CTU said that Employability is more than about developing attributes, techniques or experience just to enable a student to get a job, or to progress within a current career. Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CTU said that we at CT University want to produce ‘Young Pool of Talent’ by making the students enriched with practical knowledge and grooming them for the best placements around the globe.
