CT University marks World Tourism Day

Unity and Diversity of India showcased at CT University

Ludhiana, September 29, 2018: CT University School of Hotel Management, Airlines and Tourism celebrated World Tourism Day by exhibiting stalls of lavish mouth-watering food items and exhibition of Travel and Tourism. Students prepared food items and sold them. Different stalls set up by students had food items from the states of Haryana, Himachal, J&K, Goa, Uttrakhand and others together with the showcasing of traditional attires of these states.

A Rangoli kaleidoscopic presentation of landmarks of different states in myriad colours was an added attraction.

Inaugurating the event, Vice Chancellor, Dr Harsh Sadawarti appreciated the efforts of the students in bringing together the cuisines and cultures of different states on the campus of CT University.

Managing Director Manbir Singh remarked that such events are endeavours to depict the unity and diversity of India in microcosm adding that it connects people through the delicacy of palette.
