Ludhiana, July 28, 2018: Continuing Dental Education Program under CDC Updates was conducted on the topic "Periodontics Envisioned- Transcending the borders beyond SRP (Scaling and Root Planning)” by the Department of Periodontia, Christian Dental College, Ludhianatoday.
Dr.William Bhatti, Director, CMC was the chief guest and Dr. Rajan Jairath, Vice-President, Punjab Dental Council was the guest of honor at the program. It was attended by 400 students and senior practitioners from all over Punjab. The speakers, DrVikas Jindal, DrJagjeet Singh, DrVishakha Grover, Dr. Ritu Jain, Dr. Ravleen Kaur, Dr. Anushi Mahajan and Dr. Tejaswinin Kaur lectured on various modalities of therapy to manage Periodontal diseases.
The chief guest and the guest of honor appreciated the program and encouraged the students to strive towards updating themselves with the latest updates in the field of medicine and dentistry. The scientific sessions were followed by an intercollege Perio Quiz competition which saw enthusiastic participation from eight dental colleges of Punjab. All the participants were given six accreditation points by the Punjab Dental Council.
