Congressmen donate blood on on Rajiv Gandhi’s Birth Anniversary

Chandigarh, August 20, 2013: A blood donation camp was organised today at Punjab Congress Bhawan here in the memory of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his birth anniversary. The camp was organised by Shubh karman Health Care Society.

About 200 units of blood were donated on this occasion, according to Dr. Charanjit Singh.

The Congress leaders and party workers who came from all over the state for blood donation garlanded the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi and paid tributes to him. The party leaders remembered the sacrifice made by Rajiv Gandhi for nation.

Prominent among those paid tributes to Rajiv Gandhi included  Tarlochan Singh Soond, Charanjit  Singh Channi both PPCC Vice Presidents, Randeep Singh Nabha, Balbir Singh Sidhu MLA’s, Rajanbir Singh, Isher Singh Meherban, Darshan Singh Brar, Rajpal Singh, Khushbaz Singh Jattana, Harminder Singh Jassi,  Gurpartap Singh Mann and Manpreet Kaur Dolly. 

Meanwhile, on this occasion full unit of All India Anti Terrorist Front of District Fatehgarh Sahib joined Congress party. Those joined Congress unit included  Rajiv Kumar Gupta, President (District Fatehgarh Sahib), Manoj Mittal Vice President, Kirandeep Goyal, Aman Jain, Mukesh Bansal, Sikand Singh, Harish Kumar, Ranjeet Singh, Jitender Kumar, Raman Passi, Sanjeev Sharma, Gurdeet Singh and Adarsh Sharma.
