College Days are here again at IT Companies for young employees via Annual Days

Hyderabad, June 19, 2016: Sparkz, ZenQ Company’s Annual Day Celebrations held here at Lahari Resorts in City Outskirts at Patancherutill late evening on Saturday.

ZenQ is one of the fast growing pure-play testing service companies with offices in Hyderabad(Global Headquarter) &inDallas (USA).

350 employees of the company have participated in the daylong event, which kick started with Treasure Hunt, in which 8 teams participated. The eight member winning team was given away one gram gold coin each by Murali Bollu, MD& CEO of the company.

We have practiced for last 25 days a medley song to perform today informed young Software Testers, Archana and Lavanya. Lavanya completed B.Tech in 2010 from KITS and Archana in 2014 from DVR.

The post lunch session began with cultural programs performed by employees. Murthy Group, Rakesh and Praveen group, Rajasri and Kalyani group, Satish and Asma team, Rama, Archana, Ghouse, Karthikand others gave spellbound cultural performances. Though they were amateurs and some of the performed cultural acts first time in life, but did too well, as if they were seasoned performers.

Most of the youngsters in ZenQ are reliving their college life. The job is rewarding and rejuvenating said another budding IT professional.

This is first time i have danced on stage. I have escaped many times in college, but somehow this company has given me courage so much so that i have performed couple of acts at Sparkz said Lavanya.

Bharani K Aroll, VP, India Operations & Global IT/BPO Services, Butler America was the chief guest and gave away performance awards to the employees.

“Work Life is well balanced here at ZenQ. We make working a pleasure for our employees”, informed Murali Bollu.

Giving more details, Lakshmi Ajit, HR Manager said “by organizing annual days like a feast are part of our company’s policy. By doing so, we develop leadership, communication, team building skills and bonding among our employees”.

Archana and Lavanya said ‘our job at ZenQ as software testers is an extended college life for us’.

Aqeel another Security Test Engineer who earlier studied at Shadaan college said ‘”i am having more fun here than my college. Here we go to movies together, balance our work and personal life so well” he said.

We sit and work together, crack bugs(software bugs) and jokes together. We need time to think, regenerate our energy. It is very important to get fresh insights and to find different working approach to debug the problem. The friendly working environment makes things easy, informed Rajshekhar, Senior Project Leader.

You will often see a sign on Software Testers’ Doors:“Do not disturb. Already disturbed!”. So it is important that our work culture should be like a college or friendly home environment, informed Asma, another young IT professional. Life has become mundane. You cant work like a donkey. Need to have fun to make your life halka(light), the most talkative Asma added.

Bhargavi, another young engineer from Vizag for who it is her first job said, “our work culture here is not like an office. In IT terminology, I call it as‘user friendly’”. Lokesh Sharma and Bhargavi are from Vizag, studied together at Gitam University and now working together at ZenQ. “If your friend is your colleague and your colleague is your friend, you can imagine the pleasure of working”, he said.

The employee engagement programs are regularly organised at ZenQ by the employees themselves by forming Volunteer Committees. The SparkZ event held at Lahari Resort was coordinated under stewardship of Hemchand and Balaji.

Company or work anniversaries are relationship milestones that bond employee with the company and company and employee. According to some surveys 82 percent of people would feel good if people noticed and recognized their work anniversary. Best way to recognise an employee is to honor work anniversaries. We at ZenQ do all recognising employees on their milestone work anniversaries, we also celebrate their birthdays informed Hemchand.

It's wonderful if we could recreate and help younger and newly joined young employees re-live their college life, we will be making beginning of their work life memorable for them. The beginning days of feel good factor will make of lot of impact, Hemchand said.
