Ludhiana, May 19, 2024: Expenditure observers for the Ludhiana Parliamentary Constituency, Pankaj Kumar, IRS, and Chetan D Kalamkar, IRS, will cross-check the shadow registers with the registers maintained by 43 candidates contesting in the general elections here on May 20 at Bachat Bhawan, district administrative complex from 10 am to 5 pm.
District Election Officer Sakshi Sawhney shared the details, stating that the expenditure registers of the candidates of Indian National Congress, Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, Ravneet Singh Bittu of BJP, Ashok Parashar of AAP, Bahujan Samaj Party's Davinder Singh, and Shiromani Akal Dal (Badal) Ranjit Singh Dhillon, would be compared from 10 am to 1 pm.
The expenditure registers of Bhupinder Singh of Bharatiya Jawan Kisan Party, Devinder Singh of Aam Lok Party United, Harvinder Kaur of Samajik Sangharsh Party, Amandeep Singh of Sehajdhari Sikh Party, Santosh Kumar of Bhartiya Inqalab Party, Davinder Bhagria of Hindustan Shakti Sena, Pritpal Singh of Bahujan Dravida Party, and independents Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Naresh Kumar Dhingaan, Bhola Singh, Vishal Kumar, Balwinder Singh, Jai Parkash Jain, Simrandeep Singh, Ravinder Pal Singh, Baldev Raj Katna, Vipan Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Palwinder Kaur, Kamaljit Singh, Gurmeet Singh Kharay, Kirpal Singh, Rajinder Ghai, Chandi, Karnail Singh, Shivam Yadav from Global Republican Party, Amritpal Singh of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), Rakesh Kumar of Sunhara Bharat Party, Rajiv Kumar of Jan Sewa Party, Darshan Singh of Nationalist Justice Party, and independents Rupinder Kumar, Baldev Singh, Baljit Singh, Sudhir Kumar Tripathi, Paramjit Singh, Kaniya Lal, Gurdeep Singh Kahlon, and Kamal Pawar would be compared from 2 pm to 5 pm.
District Election Officer Sakshi Sawhney further added that all contesting candidates must bring their expenditure register and other records like cash book, bank vouchers, bank statements, and all account records. She also said that the same exercise would be held on May 25 and May 30.
