Cleanliness Campaign at Guru Kashi University

Talwandi Sabo, December 1, 2016: Staff and Students of Computer Application College of GKU celebrated the day in lie-of- Swatch Bharat Abiyan. On this day, a Cleaniness Campaign was organized by various groups of staff and students in the campus. Dr.B.S.Dhaliwal (Vice Chancellor) graced the occasion by appearing as Chief guest. Dr.Jagpal Singh (Pro.Vice Chancellor) Dr.Narinder Singh (Director Finace) and Dr.Amit Tuteja (Dy. Registrar) were also present in the function to motivate Staff & Students.
Dr. Vijay Laxmi Dean of the College (UCCA) stated that apart from the Cleaniness Campaign students also participated in Poster Making, Quiz Competition, Mehndi and Turban Competition Dr. Dhaliwal highly appreciated the work done by UCCA staff and students. During the program on the basis of attendance In the last year student Harbans Singh adjudged most regular student of the year.
Prof. Gurpreet Singh, Prof Upasna & Madam Khushpreet Kaur declared best co-ordinators of the college. In the end of the program all the winner students gave away the prizes.
S. Sukhraj Singh Sidhu (MD) lauded the effort of Dean Dr. Vijay Laxmi her staff and students for this effective activity and expected same from the students in future inside and outside the campus. HOD Harpal Singh, Prof. Mandeep Singh, Dr. Rajinder Singh & other staff did praise worthy efforts during the campaigns.
In the end Dean Dr. Vijay Laxmi delivered vote of thanks to everyone.
