Ludhiana, May 23, 2016: Around 50 students of the city who cracked seats in top MBA colleges of India were facilitated by IMS institute during a facilitation ceremony organized at a city restaurant on Sunday evening.

Munish Dewan mentioned that breaking the old trend and myth that mostly students from metros or India’s top colleges only make it India’s top MBA Colleges like IIMs, FMS, IIFT etc. Many students from Ludhiana colleges have broken records and have made city proud by achieving admissions at India’s top MBA colleges in 2016-2018 session. “Their admissions at IIMs / FMS / IIFT/MDI etc. is inspirational for others”, he said.

Dewan mentioned, “Our 8 students got admission in IIMs,1 in FMS Delhi,1 in IIFT Delhi,1 at S P Jain, Mumbai,2 in MDI Gurgaon,4 in Narsee Monjee,1 in XIMB-Bhuvneshwar,8 in IMT Ghaziabad, 10 in GIM Goa,1 in IRMA, 2 in IIT, 6 in IMI Delhi, 8 in LBS-Delhi, 4 in SIBM-Bangalore, 8 in FORE Delhi, 4 in SIIB-Pune, 1 in MFC Delhi, 2 in SIMS Pune and many more.”

Nikhil Ahuja who pursued B Com from Govt. College Boys has achieved admission at IIM Raipur by scoring 97.91 percentile in CAT'15. Jivtesh Singh from Guru Nanak Engineering College scored 95.95 percentile in CAT and also remained All India CMAT topper 2015. He received offers from IIM Rohtak, Kashipur and Trichy, where average number of students get placements of Rs 14.96 lacs. He was also selected at IIT Delhi MBA program.

Gursimran Ahuja native of Model Town, cracked seats in IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta by scoring 99.83 percentile in CAT and clearing all three interviews

Ushleen Kaur from Aurbindo College managed to achieve admission in IIM Shilong with 92.95 percentile. She mentioned that her meticulous Interviews preparations helped her achieve this admission.

Pursued Bachelor in science (Bsc.) from Government College Boys, Vikram Dhawan cleared FMS Delhi admission by scoring 99.69 percentile in CAT.
