Visit To Parliament

Ludhiana, March 9, 2016: In continuation of its efforts for all-round development of the students and teachers; B.C.M organised a recreational as well as educational trip on 8 March to the ‘Parliament House of India’ New Delhi. A group of 44 students of classes XI accompanied by 5 teachers availed this opportunity. The students learnt about working of Parliament House from the spectators’ Gallery and visited to Parliament House Museum where they listened Pt. JawaharLal Nehru’s motivational speech delivered by him right after taking the Oath of office as the first Prime Minister of India. The students were also shown a documentary depicting India’s struggle for Freedom highlighting the sacrifices and efforts of our great leaders. Students also got a chance to meet Sh. Vijay Sampala (Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment), Mr. Avinash Khanna (MP Rajysabha, National Vice-President of BJP), Mr. Sambit Patra and Mr. Shrikant Sharma (National Spokes Persons of BJP). Students also had a brief conversation with Deepak Chaurasia (Editor, India News). Another attraction of this trip was a brief stay at ‘Guru Dwara Shri Bangla Saheb’and ‘Mughal Garden‘.
