Ludhiana, December 3, 2019: Addressing a technical workshop here, Upkar Singh Ahuja, President CICU and Pankaj Sharma, general Secretary, CICU jointly said that to facilitate trade and business collaborations between Indian and Italian companies, CICU in collaboration with IICCI – The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Invest Punjab established the project for enterprises, professionals, institutions, academies and associations active in the entire Agri and food value chain: from farming to farm mechanization, post-harvesting technologies, food processing and packaging, cold storage, components and ancillary sectors. Dr.Jaskarn Singh Mahal, Dean- PAU, Mr.Amar Joshi, Deputy Secretary General, IICCI, Ing.Giancarlo Tanzi, SEPRA and Mr. Antonio Pugina, Export Sales Area Manager- MC Elettronica, Italy describe the advanced Italian Technologies through a presentation/videos and also a technical workshop on Agri Food Tech for Indian agriculture and food processing mechanization was organized for the industrialists. They further said that presently in Indian Market Scenario, there is need of Technology in the Indian Agro Food Mechanization sector for the benefit. The meeting was attended by more than 30 industrialists.
