The 48th Annual General Meeting of Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) being held on Sunday.
Chandigarh, June 7, 2015: Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) held its Annual General Meeting in RICM, Sector-32, Chandigarh. In the meeting CMA elected its new executive body. Dr Anshu Kataria, outgoing President, CMA presided over the AGM.
Among the newly elected members Mr. J.S Nayyar was elected as the president. The newly elected president will take the charge on 1st July for the tenure 2015-16. Ms. Aneet Bedi was elected as the Vice President, Mr. J.N. Vohra was elected for the record 5th time as the General Secretary, Mr. Surinder Verma as Treasurer and Mr. Deepak K Dhingra as Joint Secretary.
Dr Anshu Kataria welcomed all the members and congratulated newly appointed president and other members of the Association. He thanked all the members for their support in completing his tenure twice successfully.
Other elected members of the executive committee are Baldev Aggarwal, Madhulika Kak, Dr. Niraj Pasricha, R.K Nayyar, Amrit Lal Devasaar, Dr. H.S. Bhatti and Dr. Amarjit Singh Tanda. Aryans Group of colleges and Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions were also elected as organizational member.
Chandigarh Management Association (CMA), a registered society, is affiliated to All India Management Association (AIMA). Established in 1966, CMA is now 48 years old. At present CMA has more than 600 members drawn from Industry, Trade, and Academic institutions of Chandigarh City and its contiguous areas.
