Khanna, May26, 2015: The staff and students of Mata Ganga Khalsa Girls Collegiate Sen.Sec.School, Kottan (Ludhiana) on Tuesday organised the Bhog of Shri Sehaj Path. Principal Dr.Jatinder Kaur along with Teaching staff, Non-teaching staff and students recited path of Shri Sukhmani Sahib to invoke the blessings of the Almighty for the successful beginning of the New Academic Session 2015-16. Hymns were recited in the praise of Lord by the students of the Music Department.
Prizes were distributed to the students who took part in Gurbani recitation and Gurbani writing competition held at Gurdwara Chewin Pathshahi, village Ikloha. Miss Ramandeep Kaur of 10+2 got First Prize in Shri Sukhmani Sahib Slok writing with a cash prize of Rs.3100.
Principal Dr.Jatinder Kaur while addressing the students congratulated them for being a part of this prestigious institution. She thanked the Almighty God and inspired the students to follow the tenets of Sikhism and develop balanced outlook in life. Principal Dr. Jtinder Kaur motivated the students to excel academically, morally, ethically and attain religious knowledge. She showered her blessings on the students for success in the upcoming academic session.
