BCMITES Planted For A Greener Earth

Ludhiana, July 18, 2016: Our planet, mother earth, seems to be going through tough times due to reckless damage caused to her environment by human activities. Soaring mercury, melting glaciers, disappearing forests and species have become a cause of grave concern for the environmentalists. There is a high need to cure this ailing planet for future generations. If not We, then who? If not Now, then when? Realizing their responsibility towards our planet the young ones of BCM Senior Secondary School Sector 32-A Ludhiana, decided to take the initiative and planted more than 100 plantlets in and around the school premises. To create the awareness and spread the message of ‘Save Earth, Save Life’ among masses activities like poem recitation, declamation, slogan writing, article writing, and demonstration on Importance of Trees were held. The school Principal, Sh. D.P.Guleria encouraged the students to be the sentinels of the planet and put their best efforts to restore its beauty and health.
