BALI: Engineering collage for Kangra; Spl buses for women

Dharamsala, January 5, 2013: The Technical Education Minister of Himachal Pradesh (HP) GS Bali has said,” The polytechnic collage of Kangra near Tanda shall be converted to an Engineering Collage under Himachal University.”

He said this will help the students of Kangra and Chamba Districts, and to implement this, the necessary instructions have already been conveyed to HP University Shimla and Technical Education University, Hamirpur.

Talking to public in Kangra Bali (who is also the Transport Minister of the state), said on Saturday, that for the safe travel of ladies in the state buses, special conductor less ladies buses shall ply in major towns of the state from 5 pm to 10 pm .

Earlier the minister was warmly welcomed at Dehra, Jwalamukhi and Kangra.

Bali, who was elected from Nagrota constituency of Kangra district, was returning home, first time after assuming the ministerial post.

He said,” My mobile number shall be printed in every state run bus, so that the passengers, if in trouble can ring me directly.”
