Punjab News/CM, DCM and Majithia condole passing away of Harbans Lal Gupta

Chandigarh, November 29, 2013: Chief Minister Punjab Parkash Singh Badal has expressed profound grief over the demise of Harbans Lal Gupta, a renowned freedom fighter and former Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha and former Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court Harbans Lal Gupta who passed away today at the PGIMER, Chandigarh.
In a condolence message, Badal recalled Gupta as a fine human being, an upright politician besides an eminent jurist. Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed to almighty that the departed soul be rest in peace.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister Bikram Singh Majithia have also condoled the passing away of Harbans Lal.
