Chandigarh, July 12, 2013: Partap Singh Bajwa President Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) today expressed condolence over sad demise of Padam Shri Dr.Dhanwant Singh Grewal a renowned Ophthalmologist of world fame who passed away at Patiala on yesterday.
In a condolence message, Bajwa said that Dr. Dhanwant Singh was an eye surgeon and social activist. He brought mass awareness about the eye care and conducted thousands of free eye camps in the region. He set new challenges and goals for the Ophthalmologist community in the country. He said that services rendered by Dr. Dhanwant Singh would always be remembered.
Bajwa prayed to the Almighty to for peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family members to bear the loss.
