Bajwa condemns alleged murderous attack on Lalli Majithia

Chandigarh, January 8, 2014: Partap Singh Bajwa, President, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee(PPCC) today strongly condemned alleged murderous attack by Police personnel on PPCC General Secretary Sukhjinder Raj Singh Majithia (Lalli Majithia) while he was demonstrating against drug racket along with party workers.

Bajwa in a statement alleged that Lalli Majithia was targeted with the motive of eliminating him at the behest of a Punjab minister. He also alleged that Lalli Majithia was hit in the head with a motive to kill him. Lalli Majithia is admitted in a private hospital in serious condition, he said.

He demanded registration of attempt to murder case against police officials responsible for the attack.
