Auction for issuing license for setting up of temporary fire crackers shops at Khanna on Oct 18

Ludhiana, October 10, 2019: Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Agrawal has informed that the district administration has earmarked vacant piece of land near Atwal Palace in Khanna for setting up of temporary shops selling fire crackers in Khanna Sub Division. He informed that three licenses are to be issued for these temporary shops. He stated that the applications for applying in this auction can be procured till October 14, 2019 from the district administration. After completing all the formalities, the duly filled forms can be submitted till 5 pm from October 13-16, 2019, the scrutiny of the forms and issuing of list of eligible persons would be held at 3 pm on October 17, 2019 and the auction would be held at Bachat Bhawan, District Administrative Complex, here, at 12 noon on October 18, 2019. He informed that the temporary licenses are being issued on the directions issued by the Punjab & Haryana High Court. The Deputy Commissioner stated that the successful bidders would be given two days to set up their shops (October 19-20, 2019) and they would have permission to sell fire crackers from October 19, 2019 till Diwali.
