Attacks on Indian origin people matter of great sorrow: MP Brahmpura

Amritsar, March 7, 2017: Member of Parliament from Khadoor Sahib Ranjit Singh Brahmpura has express his deep sorrow and grief over increasing attacks on "Indian nation people" living in United States and in other countries. He invited the attention of Ms.Sushma Swaraj Minister of External Affairs, GoI to take-up this matter on global level with concerned countries for the safety and security of Indian citizens residing there.

He also added,"Such attacks on Indian origin people is a serious and sensitive issue and can lead conflict between India and other countries and GoI must carefully handle and assured the safety of Indian origin people who living in foreign countries."

He added that, Indian Ambassadors in different foreign countries should access to the President / Prime Minister of those countries for the assurance of safety and security of Indian origin people residing in their countries. so that such painful and trouble some Incidents may not happen in future.

He further added,"The recent Incidents of attacks on Indian origin people in many countries is a serious matter and It must be stopped to avoid any further disturbance between India and other countries.
