Besides appearing on celluloid screen, a multifaceted versatile actor Rajan kumar known as “Charlie Chaplin 2” world over, recently performed the role of real life hero and saved the life of a 45 year old woman Anjana Kumari, injured in a road accident in Bihar. A ceremony to give away “A good samaritan award” was organised in the hall of “Munger Panchayat”. “A good samaritan award” which included a scroll of Certificate, Momento, Shwal etc, instituted by the “Bihar Road Security Council”, was given away at the hands of District Magistrate Rajesh Meena. On the occasion Rama Shankar, an office bearer of “District Transport Committee” also praised Rajan. Rajan who already figures in Guinness World Records as “Charlie Chaplin 2”, was felicitated with “Shoorveer” award for saving lives of many, earlier. On 6 July 2019, the 45 year old Anjana Kumari, a resident of Munger (Bihar) was injured and suffered severe injury to her head, in a road accident. She was bleeding profusely. In such circumstances, hero Rajan emerged as a samaritan on the spot. Instead of wasting time like other onlookers, he immediately shifted her to hospital and ensured that urgent medical treatment was given to her.Even today Anjana Kumari and her family is not tired of showering praises on Rajan for his timely action. Now Rajan has also launched an app “Help Me” to help people of Bihar injured in road accident requiring an urgent medicare. “Anyone injured in a mishap, should get immediate medical help and the people should come forward without fear to help those in distress. The training which I received from the Road Safety Petrol (RSP), Maharashtra, came very handy while helping Anjana Kumari. Because of the training I could immediately shift injured Anjana Kumari to hospital, where she was cured after preliminary treatment” Rajan Kumar said. We must salute Rajan Kumar, who is already in news for to his role as a hero of Hindi film “Namaste Bihar”, for his enthusiasm and initiative and for putting a good example before the youth. Rajan Kumar further said that “It is a proud moment for me to receive this honour from Bihar Government. I would like to appeal to people that anyone could face such mishaps and as such they people should not hesitate in extending help to those involved in a mishap. In fact they should consider it their duty to take the injured to the hospital immediately.
