150 students of ABC Montessori School congregated for its annual Function

Ludhiana, March 12, 2016: Children were in “Bumping Moods” on Saturday at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan, Ludhiana, as around 150 students of ABC Montessori School, Basant Avenue congregated for its annual Function. There were ample of items performed by Montessorians.

Students from Classes Pre Nursery and Nursery found a platform to showcase their talents in a string of events. School gave a special importance and honour to parents by declaring them all as a chief guest as its was the words of the Director, Charandeep Singh that, “Parents are the true celebrities who trust that our school would be the best place for their kids”. The opening ceremony was done by the Little Cheer Leaders i.e Ishrat, Seerat, Jashan, Jasleen, Saanvi,etc who cheered and boosted the spirits of the majestic montessorians with scintillating song like “ Ganesh Stuti ” The Combined events included the performance of Little champs in keeping India Clean and Hygenic i.e. Swach Bharat by Agrim, Ayaan, Aditya, Mansehaj, Snehal, Kaynat. Competitive spirit ran high as several houses of the school vied for the top spot. Students of Pre Nursery i.e Amayra, Dhwani, Snehal, Navya also performed on the theme of “Parental love” in this they gave message that disputes betwwen parents ruins the life of a child. Children of nursery class i.e Palpinder-Sarifa, Ayushmaan-Chahat, Hargunjeet-Ravleen, etc performed the Traditional Punjabi Dance- Bhangra” and the play of “Save Water” was performed by Yadvi, Divjot, Parmeet, Kavish, Lovenish etc. Montessorians of Pre- Nursery class like Agamjot-Falakgun, Vivaan-Divjot, Savreen-Vansh, Diya-Tegpreet etc. performed very beautifully to the tunes of Bollywood Mashups. Children and their parents enjoyed the colorful events which took place on that day. Jungle theme based show performance was given by little montessorians of pre nursery class i.e. Manav, Yatharth, Karanbir, Amoljeet, Gurfateh etc. A bomb blasting performance as a “Show’s Stoppers” was an extremely powerpack.

School Director Mr. Charandeep Singh said: “Students should participate in different activities without being conscious of wins or loses as winners don’t wait for chances, they take them and in ABC Montessori School every child is a leader. We have given the children wings to fly high and high like an eagle.” The school principal Mrs.Sarabjit Kaur also motivated students to participate in extra-curricular activities. She also said “Our pupils had a wonderful time demonstrating the skills they have acquired over the year. It was marvelous to see our children participating and having fun with their families.

In nutshell the event proved to be a stress buster after the yearlong hustle and bustle. It also gave an insight of the sensorial and motor development of the children in a Montessori School.
