Moga, November 16, 2015: Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr.Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced that Punjab government would provide 1.20 Lakh jobs to youth of the state in coming months and will release grants for each constituency for to accomplish development works.
Addressing an impressive rally here, Deputy Chief Minister said his only mission was to ensure overall and speedy development of the state and this could be only achieved by creating enough employment opportunities for the youth. He said the Punjab government had provided record employment to youth during last 8 years and in coming months 1.2 Lakh more jobs would be provided to youth.
Expressing pain at the incidents of sacrilege of Sikhs holy book 'Guru Granth Sahib Ji', Mr. Badal said that all the nefarious elements involved in this heinous crime would be brought to book. He said such incidents were part of the deep conspiracy of the divisive forces which were hell bent upon disturbing the hard-earned peace in the state. Mr. Badal said certain elements were trying to play petty politics on sensitive issues but warned that the government would deal with such elements with a firm hand. He said once again Congress party was playing its age old tactics of divide and rule but people of the state were well aware of their wicked policies.
Deputy Chief Minister said that Punjab always witnessed record development during SAD-BJP term and the alliance also ensured communal harmony in the state, whereas on the other side Congress party was suffered from infighting
Meanwhile, addressing the gathering Jathedar Tota Singh Agricultural Minister said Punjab had written an historic growth story under the leadership of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. He said it was with the vision of SAD president Sukhbir Badal that Punjab attracted crores of industrial investment during successful organisation of two Investment Summits. He also called upon people to participate with enthusiasm in the rallies to be organised at Ferozepur, Sangrur, Barnala, Ludhiana and Moga on November 28.
On the occasion Joginer Pal Jain, Rajwinder Kaur Bhagike and Maheshinder Singh Nihal Singh Wala (all MLAs) and Tirath Singh Mahla district president SAD (rural) and Chairman district planning committee also addressed the gathering.
