Students participate during NSS Camp (Day II ) at KMV, Jalandhar on Saturday.
Jalandhar, January 17, 2015: The second day of the NSS Camp was at the village Pooranpur. A free medical camp was organised by the Department of NSS in collaboration with Chawla Nursing Home. The resource persons for the camp Dr.Deepali Chawla and her team addressed the puberty and personal problems of young growing girls and ladies of the village. Free check-up and counseling was also provided during the camp. Cleanliness drive was also carried out in the village and its school campus. NSS volunteers also helped in the construction work being carried out in the village school. Some of the volunteers also talked about literacy awareness and other vital social issues to the school students.
In-charges of NSS Prof. Anupamm and Ashima were the main guiding forces behind all the activities.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma lauded them on the successful fruition of all endeavours.
