“RASHTRIYA EKTA SAMMELAN” TO BE ORGANISED IN LUDHIANA ON DECEMBER 2
THIS FUNCTION BEING ORGANISED TO PROMOTE COMMUNAL HARMONY PROMINENT PERSONALITIES FROM ALL COMMUNITIES/RELIGIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS FUNCTION: ABDUL SHAKOOR MANGAT Ludhiana, November 29, 2018: Rashtriya Ekta Sammelan would be organised in the city on December 2, 2018. A meeting in this regard was organised by the members of Punjab State Minority Commission at Circuit House, here today. Senior district administration officials also attended the meeting. While addressing the meeting, Commission Member Abdul Shakoor Mangat informed that this sammelan is being organised to promote and strengthen communal harmony amongst all communities and religions and give united message of peace. He said that such functions are being organised across the country. Abdul Shakoor Mangat informed that prominent personalities from all communities and religions would participate in this function, which includes Baba Lakha Singh Nanaksar, Pritpal Singh Pali, President, Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib Ludhiana, Munawar Masih, Chairman, Punjab State Minority Commission, Swami Dayanand Saraswati, Shankaracharya Pramod Krishnam, Samaj Ratan Hira Lal Jain, to name a few. Commission member Albert Dua said that this function is being organised to strengthen communal harmony amongst all communities and religions of the country. He appealed to people from all religions and communities to attend this function in large numbers. Prominent among those who attended this meeting included Mufti-E-Azam Punjab Iftikar Ul Hassan, Abdul Shakoor Thind, besides several others.
