Zee TV’s Sita regales her Ramayan co-stars with her beautiful singing

This is something most people may have forgotten about Neha Sargam who plays Sita in Zee TV’s Ramayan ... but the beautiful actress has a honey-coated voice that can hold a tune beautifully. Neha had auditioned for a singing reality show in the past and was spotted there for her charming smile. In fact, it was her stint on the singing reality show that landed her her initial roles on television.
These days, even though most of her time is spent in Baroda shooting for Ramayan, the lady’s back to her singing! Set insiders reveal that it’s become almost a regular feature on the sets for all the actors to gather around for her to sing a song between takes and during breaks. And while the entire cast enjoys her songs, her biggest fan is her on-screen brother-in-law Neil Bhatt who plays Lakshman in the show. Neil invariably has one or the other farmaaish for Neha and doesn't let her sit at peace unless she sings the song he has in mind!
Neil Bhatt said, "We are a little cut-off from our own world in Mumbai since we shoot for Ramayan in Baroda. In times such as these, it's great to bond with your fellow artistes. Neha's a great girl and she's a fabulous singer. I make her sing songs of my choice every now and then. She has a great range as a singer and can sing songs that are soft and melodious as well as the lively ones that have mass appeal!"
