World Mental Health Day observed at CMC Hospital

Ludhiana, October 10, 2017: Mental Health Nursing Department, College of Nursing, CMC Hospital, Ludhiana observed the World Mental Health Day on the theme “Mental Health in the Workplace”.

The program started with a word of prayer. The theme was unfolded by Dr. Usha Singh, Head of Mental Health Nursing Dept. who spoke about importance of mental health in the workplace and different ways to promote mental health.Prof. (Mrs.) Ponnamma R. Singh, Principal,College of Nursing, and Dr. Sandeep Goyal,Head of Department of Psychiatry, and Mrs. Malini Singh Bhatti, Associate Professor, CMC Hospital, Ludhiana expressed their views on different aspects of mental health at workplace.The Poster Exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Goyal. An educative role play was also enacted by nursing students on the theme.
