World Class Education at Starex University

Gurugram: Starex University was officially launched on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Ramada Gurgaon Central, Plot-2, Sector-44, Gurgaon, Haryana. The inauguration was addressed by Dr.Ashok Diwakar, Vice Chancellor, and Dr.DivyaTyagi, Dean of Physical Science at Starex University. Starex University was conceptualized under the provisions of Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act 2006. Stretching across 65 acres of lush land across the Delhi-Jaipur Highway NH – 48, the campus is equipped with all modern amenities.

On this occasion Dr.Ashok Diwakar, Vice Chancellor at Starex University said, "The University is equipped with world class infrastructure in the field of teaching, learning, and research, along with state of the art hostel and residential facilities. The library is fully automated, using KOHA – an Integrated Library Management System. Users can avail facilities like Self-Check-in and Check-out, search books through the OPAC and also renew books, reserve books as well as create virtual shelves for their reading. Students are also encouraged to suggest book purchases for the library.

Dr. Ashok Diwakar firmly believes that universities can become torch bearers for societies and act as an engine of economic development, ideological enhancement and a hub for skill development. The university curriculum was introduced during the event. Based on the UGC and UPSC syllabus, it is extensive and covers current subject requirements. The launch of the university also saw a convergence of professionals, intellectuals and social workers.
