Workshop on Managing Self for Academic Excellence at PU

Chandigarh, January 31, 2019: The office of the Dean International Students(DIS), Panjab University(PU), Chandigarh organized a workshop on Managing Self for Academic Excellence for International Students Studying in PU teaching departments and its local affiliated colleges, here today. Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, University Institute of Applied Management Sciences and Prof. Renu Thakur, Ancient Indian History Culture and Archaeology, PU delivered lectures on Art of writing perfect answers in exams and managing time. The students who face problem in attempting answers in examination were asked to raise questions. Through interaction various issues related to time management were discussed. Dr. Rakesh Khullar, Health Centre, PU delivered a lecture on Managing Stress. There are various kinds of stresses which students face while staying outside their country. About 60 students attended the workshop and benefited from the interaction. Prof Nandita Singh DIS invited suggestions from students on the themes for organising workshops in future. BRIEF PU Results: It is for the information of the general public and students of Panjab University Teaching Departments/Colleges in particular that result of the following examinations have been declared:- 1. B.Sc.(H.S.) Zoology, 1st Sem., July 2018 2. B.Sc.(H.S.) Zoology, 2nd Sem., July 2018 3. B.Sc.(Honours) Zoology, 2nd Sem., May 2018 The students are advised to see their results in their respective Departments/ Colleges/ University website.
