CT Group hosts Icons of India Award Evening

Raunak Events and Nimantran Events give awards to 40 achievers Jalandhar, July 6, 2019: CT Group of Institutions hosted Icons of India, a talent hunt and award evening, organised by Raunak Events and Nimantran Events at Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium of Shahpur campus. Around 40 achievers across the region were honored on the basis of their contribution to the society. The event was inaugurated by CT Group Co-Chairperson Parminder Kaur Channi, Tanika Singh, Shaina Kocchar, Rashmi Aggarwal, Munish Sahni from OmJee films and Music Producer JK. During the award felicitating ceremony, young Sarpanch Panthdeep Singh bagged Social Icon Award, Young baker Ishani Talwar bagged Passionate Bake Cake Artist, and Bollywood Consultant Shailja Sharma was titled as young fashion consultant. Not only this, TV personality Ashutosh bagged Young Media Person Award and 10 social activists were also honored for their selfless contribution in the society. Along with felicitating ceremony, the event got the hype from talent hunt events like Iconic Baby including baby show, Iconic Kids and Teenager including Modeling and Dance, Iconic Youngster including Modeling, Singing, Dance, Rap and Poet. Participants from Nagpur, Solan, Kashmir, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi etc participated in such events and won various honors. The USP remained Taare Zameen Par round by special need kids. Shaina Kochhar, one of the organizers said that the main objective of organizing this event is to honor the unsung heroes to give them motivation and to give a platform for kids to showcase their talent.
