Jalandhar, August 24, 2015: The PG Department of Economics Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized a Fresher's party for the fresher students of MA Economics. The chief guest of the event was the college Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra who welcomed the new coming students of the outgoing class and urged them to work united with all their potential for the development of country. The Head of the Department Prof. Navdeep Kaur welcomed the Principal, other guests and students. Modeling, Dance, Bhangra, Skits were presented by the students on this occasion. Shagun was declared Miss. Fresher, where as Mandeep Singh was chosen Mr. Fresher. Ramanjeet was declared Mr. Stylist and Geetanjali was declared Best Personality. The occasion was witnessed by the students and the staff of the department.
