Jalandhar, March 27, 2016: Walk of Hope is a padayatra for peace & harmony by the Manav Ekta Mission – from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. It is led by Sri M and seeks to resurrect the nation for the coming generations.
The Walk of Hope was flagged off on 12 January 2015- the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The walk of hope started from the Gandhi Memorial Mandapam in Kanyakumari and will conclude in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
Sri M – spiritual guide, social reformer and educationist established the Satsang Foundation which is a platform for spiritual seekers. He also started the Satsang Vidyalaya – providing free, high-quality, multi-lingual education to rural children. For more than 400 days now, he is leading the Walk of Hope bringing together people from all walks of life.
On March 27th, 2016 another leg of the walk was completed when Sri M met the differently abled children at “Mother Teresa Home – Missionaries of Charity” at Jalandhar and continued the walk towards Cambridge International Foundation School.
At the Mother Teresa Home, Sri M was welcomed and greeted by Municipal Corporation councilor – Smt. Parminder Kaur Pannu. Later M Sir spent some quality time with the children at Mother Teresa Home and distributed gifts to them. The way in which children reciprocated the love shared by M Sir was heartwarming.
Led by Sri M, the support staff of Cambridge International Foundation, Cambridge CoEd and Cambridge Girls School along with the teaching staff walked towards Cambridge International Foundation School. Reaching Cambridge Foundation Sri M was welcomed heartily and traditionally with lamp lighting. He then addressed the entire support staff of Cambridge Schools with his words of wisdom and hope. He inspired each one present with his soul stirring thoughts. It was indeed an opportunity for everyone to get in touch with tranquility and positivity through Sir’s words.
