All seats of MDS at Dr HS Judge Dental Institute, PU got filled up in first counselling for course

Chandigarh June 1, 2015: All seats of Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) at Dr. HS Judge Dental Institute, Panjab University (PU), Sector 25, Chandigarh PU Campus got filled up today in the first counselling for the course.

From this session only, PU has started MDS course with 14 seats in five specialties in ‘Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics’, ‘Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery’, ‘Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics’, ‘Periodontics’ and ‘Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge’.

Principal of the Dental Institute, Dr Ashish Jain informed that the Dental Institute received tremendous response for the first batch as more than three times of applicants applied for the course. All the seats also got filled up in the first counselling, which was conducted today at Golden Jubilee Guest House Seminar Hall, PU Sector 14 Campus, he added.

It may be recalled that Dr Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences was established in April 2006 under the aegis of PU. The Institute aims at providing oral health care facilities to the general public and training to the students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
