Ludhiana, January 3, 2018: In view of the ongoing cold wave and fog, the state Education Department has decided to change the timings of all government, private, aided and affiliated etc primary, middle, high and senior secondary schools of the state.

While giving information, Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal has informed that the Punjab government has decided to change the timings of all schools in the interest of health of children in view of ongoing cold wave and fog. He said that these orders would come to force immediately.

As per the orders, the timings for primary schools would be from 10 am to 4 pm, while that of middle, high and senior secondary would be from 10 am to 4:15 pm. He informed that these orders would remain in force till further orders. Mr Agrawal has directed the officials of District Education office and all school authorities to follow these orders strictly.
